She had been playing on the bed while I folded clothes. I walked into the laundry room and this is what I found when I came back. She slid off the bed and was wedged between the mattress and footboard. She wasn't happy about the fact that I got the camera to take pictures of her before I got her out.

Triple the Help and Time

My latest sewing project was making a dress for Ellen. This should have been a simple and quick project, but factor in two little helpers and the difficulty level and completion time tripled. It's hard enough to get a 22 month old to sit still for a few seconds, but try getting measurements and pinning a dress on one. I needed a timeout after that. Once I started sewing the dress, Todd wanted to help me press the "gas" pedal which would have been fine, but he only knows one speed and it's super fast. We managed to finished the dress in under 3 hours. I'm pleased with how it turned out, but Ellen may not want to wear it again. While we were pinning the dress, she stuck her finger with one of the pins. Now when I put the dress on her, she says, "No Mommy, off." I just hope she forgets getting stuck and wants to wear it this summer.

5:05 AM Wake-Up Call

TODD: "Mommy, I have to tell you something."

ME: "What is it?"

TODD: "I just want to tell you that I love you so much."

How could I take him back to his bed after that? He's a sweetheart, but a little sneaky!
