22" of snow. By far, this was the most snow we have seen in our life. Todd and Ellen had a great time playing in all the snow. Toby and I weren't quite as excited about it after the third day of shoveling. We threw snowballs, went sledding and drank lots of hot chocolate. It was a white Christmas. It was beautiful.

The Biltmore Estate

We traveled to Asheville, North Carolina in mid October. My parents, brother and sister met us there for the weekend. We celebrated my parents birthdays early and took them to tour the Biltmore Estate. The property and house were amazing to see. Below are a few pictures from the weekend.

I know it has been several months since my last post. Our family has been busy, busy, busy. So here is a recap of the past five months along with a few pictures.

June
-Toby transitions in new job for two weeks
-Magill Family Reunion in Guntersville, AL
-House hunting trip in VA

July
-Toby officially starts new job
-Beach vacation
-I fly to VA
-Toby and I visit Washington DC

August
-Day trip to Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin'
-Accept offer on our LA house (4 days before our scheduled move date)
-Move to VA
-Stop at the Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge on our way to VA
-Close on our new house
-Our friends, the Klings, deliver two precious baby girls, Jenna Marie & Jorja Ann, on 8/26

-Todd starts kindergarten
-We joyfully celebrate the birth of our niece, Katie Evelyn, on 9/11
