While the kids and I were visiting family last week, we spent one morning playing at my Papaw's house. The kids love going to see Papaw LC. Plus, he is always baking chocolate chip cookies and keeps a bowl full of cookies on his kitchen table. Papaw LC has a box of toys for the great grandchildren to play with when they visit. While looking through the box, Todd found a ball. So he and Ellen played in the hallway bouncing the ball to each other. As I sat there watching them play, I remembered all the fun times I had as a child playing in that house with my brother, sister and cousins. It was special for me to watch the kids playing like we used to as I know it was for my Papaw as well.
Happy Birthday Papaw LCPapaw LC celebrated his 87th birthday on April 30th.
